But I could be wrong, even if I'm not, so what if they're sexists? Does that mean I shouldn't be a fan of them anymore?

Listen to Nebraska and the first half of Born To Run and you might change your mind about Springsteen. I don't like him an awful lot myself, but he's worth at least trying out. Bits of his back catalogue after those albums I like, but that's probably just me.

There isn't that much 'to get' in the first place. Blink 182 are one of those bands to be taken at face value.

that doesnt matter they are amazing they arent bad you may think that they should be only taken at face value but their self titled album sold 2,000,000 copies world wide so there must be a small group of people that can understand them and love them like i do.

Uh, did I ever say I didn't like them? Just because they're not exactly introspective doesn't mean I can't enjoy Dude Ranch every now and then.
