Default The Album Review Index - Know About It? Ever Used It?

Link : http://www.musicbanter.com/album-rev...iews-here.html

The Album Review Index is a thread that I maintain that keeps an index over album reviews. It can be useful for finding specific reviews that are hard to search for (many reviews are "hidden" inside members journals), you can browse or perhaps check out if someone's written about the album you wanted to review already. Finally, it's a testament to the productivity of the members of the site which, when you look at the index, is actually quite impressive. A lot of us have added to it.

But, since I generally pay less attention to what goes on with reviews these days than I did when I was a moderator, I wonder how many actually publish their reviews in that thread. Does the index have them all? If not, how many of new reviews are ever entered into the index? And do people ever use it?

I thought I could answer some of these questions with a poll and perhaps that would have the added benefit of getting some new entries to the index and some added awareness. So please take a moment to answer it.

Although the index is a cumbersome beast to manage these days, any ideas/feedback you can give is also welcome!

I don't think I've done a review in there, only one I've actually put on Music Banter, which is pathetic!

I've got my Phish reviews and several other reviews (Richard Thompson, Trey Anastasio) in there, but I didn't put any of my other ones. I kept meaning to, but every time I remembered, I was off doing something or about to leave my house.

I'm a reviewer who has never posted their review in the index, not for lack of knowledge about the index, but because I sort of got the impression it was dead.

I do update it now and then. Admittedly, I did ask for someone to take over index duties when I stepped down from modship, but as far as I know, noone's worked on it but me.

You'll find every single one of my reviews in there, with the exception of my last journal entry which I think I'll update when I've got another two or three waiting.
