I'm glad someone got a kick out of it. I didn't even know if anyone would come in here again. Hear any good tracks lately?

Those are my favorite sub-genres.
I like some of the older Psytrance, but not so much the newer stuff. And what do you mean by Downtempo? I'm never sure if I actually get it right.

It's what they played in between raving sets of trance to get people to mellow out and relax for a few minutes before they got all active again. It's chillout. It's stuff like Ooze's Where the Fields Never End, um... off the top of my head I'm having trouble naming names.

Ohh okay. That track is really cool! I always put everything from Flica and Rist to Arms & Sleepers as Downtempo, even though deep down inside I have no idea.

As someone very into minimalistic, progressive, soundscape-painting electronic music, can anyone give me some Trance bands I might like?

Hm... that's a toughie. Could you post examples of what you like? I might be able to help out better that way. I'm pretty horrible with genre names.

I will do old school if you don't mind!

Nearly 20 years old but this is still a classic and an early trance entry especially that awesome breakdown.

BT -Godspeed. Such a great track. Love the breakdown with the guitar licks.

Yes! Loads but they're not necessarily new haha. I've been listening to alot of Laidback Luke, Nicky Romero and mostly getting back into the older stuff I liked like G&D, A&B and the like .
