Default Little Dragon (this is Electro, Lounge, Soul)

I'll spare the details in this thread (like location, discography, etc.) and leave that to the pros.

This is the band and their works:
Little Dragon (2) Discography at Discogs

They are led by this woman. Obviously descended from Aphrodite, the goddess of uber hotness.
Yukimi Nagano Discography at Discogs
Yukimi Nagano - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sheee sang on this Koop song, it was awesome, called Summer Sun. Totally awesome, you may have heard it. Actually, she originally toured with Koop and sang a couple of their other songs, but now they got this new chick, some white girl.

I saw the new chick live, at Bimbos in SF, she was awesome. I haven't, however, seen Yukimi live; which is probably good because I would surely have been arrested for beckoning her with my member.

Anyways, back on topic.
please enjoy and discuss

(this one is a fan video btw, ooOooOo that chick would get it too!)

well, your post makes you sound like a 13 year old boy with raging hormones, but looking past that, i'm really digging this music.

it was your mention of Koop that make me check out the videos, but i was expecting something much more upbeat. i wasn't sure what i thought at first, but after listening thorough these plus a few more youtube vids, i think i'll track down their albums.

~edit~

this stuff is really good.

yes, I have 27 year old raging bone-a-milf hormones. Don't look past it. Get used to it.

I felt the EXACT same way about LD. She has a very interesting voice that is accentuated by the groovy loungy beats.

The latest release, Machine Dreams, is a must have in any proper library.

This stuff is really hitting the spot for me regarding my musical mood right now, catchy but laid back. I swear i've heard that Constant Surprises song before as well. Shall be investigating further!

i'm actually enjoying their self titled a lot more than the newer album. i got a japanese version of the album with an extra track called Fortune which is definitely a 5-star

This is some great stuff here. I absolutely love the vocals and the chill vibe. Downloading Machine Dreams now (it's the only one I could find).

And yes, she it gorgeous but "descended from Aphrodite, the goddess of uber hotness"?

great rec...i've been made a fan.

i'll agree with you on the singer being hot, too. i have a thing for cute asian singers. hence the reason i got into blonde redhead and asobi seksu.

hahah, well, I may have overstated her beauty in my exuberant display of affection but I do find talented fit women incredibly attractive.

What can I say, music excites me!

Well, she is pretty hot, I have to admit.

So, I listened to Machine Dreams last night. It wasn't what I expected based on the vids you posted, but I did like it quite a bit. I'd definitely listen to the album again. Do you have links for the other album you were talking about? I couldn't find one anywhere...
